SDGs Launch is a program that will educate, empower, and mobilize students to become activists for sustainable development in their community. Students will have exclusive opportunities to connect with UN Speakers and youth activist/founder of FES, Steve Lee. By participating in our Action Plan Development workshop, youth will gain the knowledge and skills to become catalysts for change in their communities. This two-part training will be delivered online on a Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, to allow you to reflect and process your learning over two days.

At this event, you will have a chance to:

• Interact with UN officials and civil society activists who identified, created, and are implemented the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) around the world.
• Develop a deeper understanding of the UN goals to become a better student advocate.
• Participate in skills training after a review of examples of SDGs implementation by young people across Canada and around the world.
• Receive a certificate of training completion to add to your resume, CV, Student Experience Record, and LinkedIn.
