About the Show:

A bold, joyful reimagining of the Noah’s Ark story, Two by Two is an original musical set in 1960s Canada and told through a fully queer lens. When a young priest arrives to lead his first parish, he believes that God has called him to the priesthood to save him for the world he was born into. But as he comes to know the members of his congregation, he is drawn into a community that challenges him to discover who he truly is—and the family he may choose for himself.

Blending camp, warmth, humour, and musical vibrancy, Two by Two draws inspiration from the wit and infectious energy of musicals like Hairspray while exploring deeper questions of identity, belonging, exclusion, resilience, and joy. Both entertaining and meaningful, this new work brings a contemporary perspective to a familiar story, centering voices that have too often been erased from history.   Join us for a workshop presentation of this exciting work-in-progress.
