Cory is from Forteau, Newfoundland & Labrador. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Education.
In his role, Cory leads the Residence Life Office which oversees the day-to-day operations of the residence community, organizes residence programming, and acts as a resource for all residence students. His guiding initiative is based in leadership, community building, and positive Mental Health. His work helps foster a residence community that contributes to the personal growth and academic success of students.

Sylenah Beckford

Sylenah is from Kingston, Jamaica. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology from º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ (2021).
In her role, Sylenah leads the administrative aspects of the Residence system at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½. Beyond managing all applications, assignments, etc., she is also responsible for student staff hiring and training and takes the lead on residence conduct issues. The Residence Administration Supervisor works most closely with the Residence Life Supervisor, reports to the Associate Director, Student Services and Residence Life, and collaborates with teams of Residence Coordinators and Residence Assistants. Sylenah is also part of a larger Student Services team and works closely with staff from many other offices on campus.
"My goal is to help foster an inclusive, welcoming and safe environment for all residence students, where they feel supported within the campus community. I have developed a deep understanding and appreciation for how the living experience in residence can help students with their sense of belonging. º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ has been my home and I would like to ensure that other students can call º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ home."
Jeremy Fowler

Jeremy grew up in Hampton, New Brunswick. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ (2012) and an Advanced Diploma in Public Relations from NSCC (2017).
In his role, Jeremy supports the Residence Coordinators, Residence Advisors, and House Committees in building community within residence and around campus. He does this by building relationships with our residence’s students through communal living, special events and educational programming.
“The residence community had a profound impact on my education and student experience. To have the opportunity to do the same for current students is a privilege. My goal is to create an atmosphere on campus that gives students memories that they will cherish for decades.”
